~ why we're building this ~
We had two dogs — Luffy and Sam. We knew our vets by name. We knew what tick fever looked like. We knew which clinics were open at midnight.
A few months ago, we brought home a third dog. He died in five days. Tick fever that the pet store never disclosed.
We had every advantage. Years of experience. A vet we trusted. And we still couldn't save him.
That's when we asked — what happens to someone bringing home their first pet? No network. No knowledge. No idea which vet to trust at 2 AM.
That's 70% of India's pet parents. First-timers. Completely on their own.
So we built Hooman.
